Ms. Lambert has extensive general and multidistrict civil litigation experience, which is representative of her diverse practice which focuses on the defense of insurers, RRGs, self-insured entities and their insureds against first and third-party claims in state and federal court, arbitration and mediation.
Armed with the most current trends in Nevada insurance law and judicial trends, Brandy skillfully defends carriers and their insureds against high-exposure claims such as bad faith, product liability, personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, construction defect, real property title disputes and disputes involving general commercial liability policies of insurance.
Her background also includes Nevada family law and exposure to federal administrative law proceedings before the Department of Justice and Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals regarding security clearances for various government agencies.
A native of the Pittsburgh area, Brandy attended the University of South Florida where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and graduated manga cum laude with a B.S in Environmental Science and Policy. While pursuing her J.D. at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, she embarked on what most would consider a peculiar diversion for a law student and entered the world of trucking. By the end of her first year of law school, she co-owned a trucking company, semi-trucks and was a licensed freight forwarder/broker. While remaining committed to her legal career, Brandy spent the next few years gaining over-the-road trucking experience few would expect of an attorney. This background renders her uniquely qualified to handle any matter arising from trucking and transportation activities from compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Regulations, including SMS compliance and unique issues pertaining to independent contractors / owner-operators. Ms. Lambert joined the Nevada office in 2015.
