Mr. Islam Ahmad joined the Northern California office of the firm in 2018 with the goal of establishing a career in construction defect litigation. Mr. Ahmad strives to achieve the desired results for the firm’s clients while maintaining his high standard of professional responsibility. Mr. Ahmad obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Davis and his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Berkeley. During law school, Mr. Ahmad worked at the Civil Rights Clinic and interned at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Ahmad sought to use his education to promote international peace and prosperity. Mr. Ahmad worked for three years in international economic development consulting. His efforts focused on establishing a foundation for political peace in the Palestinian-Israeli region through the development of new business channels and creation of incentives for economic cooperation. Mr. Ahmad engaged in the construction, energy, and agricultural sectors. His presence and engagement helped introduce new innovative ideas and vision.

Mr. Ahmad remains evermore passionate about learning the details of the construction industry in order to advance the objectives of the firm’s clients. He enjoys breaking down the complex facts and timeline of each case to create a strategy for litigation.

In his free time, Mr. Ahmad enjoys playing and watching sports. His interests include cars, food, and travel.
