Tammy Brito

Tammy Brito is an associate in the firm's Miami office. She focuses her practice on construction litigation and insurance disputes. Ms. Brito has experience representing developers, contractors, and subcontractors in construction defect claims. Prior to joining Lee Hernandez Landrum Carlson, Ms. Brito practiced at a statewide firm that specializes in construction litigation representing contractors and design professionals in professional liability claims. Ms. Brito is also a Licensed Roofing Contractor for the state of Florida.

Ms. Brito graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of law, where she earned Dean's List honors and was a Pro-Bono Award recipient for completing over 130 hours of charitable legal work. While in law school, Ms. Brito served as a Staff Editor on The Florida International University Law Review, where she authored a comment and proposed amending Florida's construction defect statute, Chapter 558, to grant contractors an absolute right to cure alleged construction defects. She also served as a student Attorney for the Small Business Clinic at FIU, where she assisted on a project focused on the development of low income housing. Further, Ms. Brito served as a legal intern for the State Attorney's Office, 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.
