Elizabeth Spaur began her career at the University of California, Las Angeles in their Legal Affairs Department. While there she assisted with claims related to state and local governance, medical regulations (such as EMTALA and HIPAA), personnel issues and personal injury claims. After moving to Washington, D.C. she assisted with document preparation for regulatory review for multiple mergers and acquisitions before going to work for the Department of Veterans Affairs Board of Appeals where she reviewed veterans' benefits claims and prepared decisions for an administrative law judge. Since 2007, she has worked at the firm and has handled various complex litigation matters including, but not limited to, the following issues: construction defects; insurance defense; personal injury; products liability; asbestos exposure; and insurance interpleaders.
